There has been lots of questions on how the
points are awarded. The Rules Handbook sets out the
points per number of teams, but it does not tell you how they are awarded.
Points are given in two go-rounds and in the average:
(1) The first go. Points are given on the total number of
teams
(2) The second go. Points are given on the total number of
teams that came back to the second go.
(3) Average. NOT THE TOP TEN OR SHORT GO. The average
is the total of the first, second and top 10 go rounds.
DOUBLE POINTS ARE GIVEN IN THE AVERAGE based on the total number of teams in the
first go round.
